Terminal degree in choral conducting or professional equivalent.
Record of successful teaching at the collegiate level.
Evidence of effective strategies for recruiting a broad spectrum of choral singers.

Responsibilities

Administer the choral area, direct Conservatory Choir, teach undergraduate conducting and guide masters/doctoral study.
Collaborate with the Vocal Choral Division and other specialists to strengthen the faculty.
Design, develop, and implement recruitment strategies for programs.
Participate in faculty meetings and auditions.
Teach specialized courses in areas of expertise.
