Job summary

Qualifications

• MS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or a master’s degree with 18 graduate chemistry hours.
• 2–3 years of college-level teaching experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Experience with a multilingual student population is desirable.
• Familiarity with Brightspace LMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Designs courses and prepares syllabi with clearly articulated student learning objectives and outcomes.
• T teaches on-campus in a manner consistent with college policies.
• Creates an effective learning environment fostering curiosity and problem-solving.
• Demonstrates excellence in teaching and uses new technologies in learning.
• Provides regular feedback and records grades promptly.
• Develops assessment programs ensuring application of concepts learned.
• Stays current with pedagogy and technology advances.
• Participates in departmental meetings and college committees.
