Job summary

Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO) in Carlsbad, NM, is seeking an Application Developer/System Analyst to support the WIPP contract. You will join the Application Development team and work with project stakeholders, BAs, QA, and vendors to develop custom software solutions and manage COTS implementations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years (or equivalent experience), familiarity with Windows 11/Server, SQL, IIS, and the Microsoft stack (C#, Blazor, JavaScript,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience, or Associate’s degree with seven (7) years of experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalency with eleven (11) years of experience.
• Familiarity with Windows 11 & Windows Server, SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Microsoft development stack, C#, Blazor, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather application requirements.
• Install, deploy, update, and support new and existing software systems.
• Perform vulnerability and patch management for responsible software applications.
• Maintain relevant documentation and Enterprise Architecture software inventory documentation.
• Perform software quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Design and develop software to meet project requirements as assigned.
