Job summary

You will provide direct and indirect instruction, track progress with data, and prepare students for required assessments.

The role involves collaborating with Special Education staff, maintaining classroom order, and communicating with parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or content area.
• Valid state teaching license for Grades K-5 or 6.
• Experience integrating technology to boost achievement.
• Volunteer or community service demonstrated.
• National Board Certification or Core Knowledge Experience preferred.
• Experience with blended learning and urban teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement blended learning environments aligning with state standards.
• Deliver direct and indirect instruction in multiple subjects.
• Create engaging classrooms that develop critical thinking and problem solving.
• Prepare students for assessments and communicate progress to parents.
• Assess progress with data, provide daily feedback and conferences as needed.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff and administration.
• Enforce classroom rules and manage student behavior effectively.
• Attend required staff meetings and school functions, including after hours.
