Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and enforce behavior standards.
• Plan study programs and align lessons with state standards and curriculum.
• Develop and submit lesson plans for review; incorporate feedback to improve instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to implement inclusive practices for diverse learners.
• Work with staff on grant-funded programs to accelerate learning for various student groups.
• Maintain accurate records and protect student confidentiality; comply with reporting requirements.
• Communicate with parents and be available outside normal hours for student learning support.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to maintain teaching credentials and qualifications.
• Provide instructional resources and participate in school teams and planning activities.
• May participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs or tutoring.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
