Qualifications

• Active state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Growth‑focused coaching environment with frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to properly manage confidential information.
• Able to supervise students of various ages in different school settings.
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain records of students’ progress and development.
• Use research-based practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for student learning.
• Use school-approved curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds.
• Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
• Incorporate technology into daily practice to support learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in non-instructional activities.
