Job summary

Waco ISD seeks a Teacher for Elementary/3rd Grade at Kendrick Elementary. You will provide engaging learning experiences in core subjects, align with district curriculum, and support student growth in intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development.

The role requires TX teaching certification, a bachelor's degree, and successful student teaching or internship experience. On-site campus with collaboration across staff and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• At least one year of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Plan accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Use technology to enhance the teaching/learning process.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as assigned.
