Big Tex Trailers in Addison, TX seeks a Product Manager of Innovation to lead breakthrough product strategies across trailer categories, guiding concepts from idea to launch and ensuring alignment with business goals.

You will champion user-centered design, conduct market research, and collaborate with Product Engineering and Manufacturing to deliver scalable, profitable products. Travel up to 50% and report to the Sr. Director of Product Development and Channel Marketing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a technical field from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of product management experience, ideally with innovation/new product development.
Proven ability to convert innovations into scalable business solutions across multiple brands or channels.
Comfortable working hands-on with products and engaging with dealers, end users, and internal teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex concepts clearly.
Passionate about innovation with creative problem-solving and outside-the-box thinking.
Strong strategic mindset balancing short-term wins with long-term product vision.
Experience developing business cases and product pitches for leadership using customer insights and market data.
Familiarity with agile product development methodologies, including sprints, MVPs, and iterative testing.
Proven track record of launching successful new products in a competitive market landscape.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the innovation product vision across trailer product categories; align with business strategy.
Lead full product lifecycle management—from concept through launch for innovative product lines.
Advocate for user-centric design; integrate customer feedback and usability into development.
Develop and manage innovation product roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Define product requirements and collaborate with Product Engineering and Manufacturing for execution.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure success of new products.
Collaborate on pricing strategy and positioning to maximize market impact.
Promote a culture of innovation with ideation workshops and design thinking practices.
