Job summary

Kraft Heinz seeks a Procurement Manager for Innovation to align business strategy with supplier capability and drive new product launches. You will lead project-level procurement, partner across brands, R&D, operations, and finance, and ensure coordination for external manufacturing and internal plant innovations.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, storytelling, and building supplier partnerships to accelerate innovation and growth within a hybrid Chicago-area work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; MBA or advanced procurement qualifications preferred.
• Experience in innovation sourcing, external manufacturing, commercialization, ingredients, or packaging.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence across stakeholders.
• Experience supporting new product development, commercialization, or launch execution.
• Strong negotiation skills and contracting foundation.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-level procurement support for innovation initiatives across the BU portfolio.
• Partner with brand and cross-functional teams to align priorities, timing, and supplier capability needs.
• Serve as primary procurement contact for assigned initiatives with timely deliverables.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing for innovations via external manufacturing and internal plant projects.
• Conduct supplier market landscape analysis and build external partnerships.
• Drive supplier readiness, risk mitigation, and launch support.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure alignment to portfolio priorities.
