Vertiv’s Innovation Lab is seeking an Engineering Intern to support cutting-edge power and thermal management projects, and to help apply AI tools to boost productivity and knowledge sharing within the lab.

You will work with engineers on test workflows, learn lab testing operations, and gain exposure to AI-enabled engineering practices in a fast-paced setting.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and curious Innovation Lab Engineering Intern to support technical initiatives within the lab. This role provides exposure to cutting-edge power and thermal management technologies, laboratory testing operations, and the application of AI tools to improve engineering workflows. The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering background, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in learning how emerging AI technologies can enhance engineering productivity, knowledge sharing, and decision-making.

Requirements
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats

  • Strong foundation in mechanical/electrical engineering fundamentals, with the ability to apply first-principles reasoning and systems thinking to analyze complex, interconnected systems.
