Prysmian Group in North Carolina is seeking an Innovation Engineer to lead identification, development, qualification and implementation of new products and technologies to drive energy and telecom business results. You will interact with customers, provide technical leadership for transfer to production, design detailed products, and collaborate with R&D, Operations and IP teams to push innovation.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics and 2–3 years of experience;

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
• 2–3 years of experience in new product design and development in a manufacturing environment.
• Track record of identifying and implementing new technology.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate new or existing technologies for innovative product development.
• Engage with customers to define new product requirements and opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership for transfer of new products into production with Operations and Engineering teams.
• Create detailed product designs using calculations, process definitions and material selections.
• Benchmark best practices between Prysmian and US operators.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree - Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or Physics

Advanced degree in Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or Physics
