Job summary

Main Purpose of Job

The primary objective of this role is to support the Baltimore City Department of Social Services (BCDSS) by providing on-site technical guidance, producing data-driven reports, and performing detailed data analysis. This position requires significant independent judgement to interpret and apply the L.J. v. Massinga federal court mandates (LJ Consent Decree), as well as relevant laws and regulations throughout various administrative stages. Additionally, the incumbent will facilitate effective communication to help personnel identify and rectify issues within the Child Juvenile & Adult Management Systems (CJAMS), the agency's primary electronic information platform.

POSITION DUTIES
Information Management (Work Assignments)
  • Generate and analyze reports from internal databases and systems like CJAMS and Workday to produce critical performance and compliance metrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered, and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire. Please read all requirements before applying.

Experience:Eight years of experience, four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and fouryears of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses ofprograms, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at anaccredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours per year for up to six years of the required experience.

3.Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for therequired experience.
