Qualifications

• Curiosity and comfort learning unfamiliar technologies, markets, vendors, and operating models.
• Strong follow-through and willingness to chase down incomplete information across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own development and maintenance of Innovation business cases, ROI models, payback analyses, sensitivities, and economic scenarios across technologies and client environments.
• Independently identify, source, and validate model inputs by working with Finance, Pricing, Operations, vendors, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain market and vendor intelligence, including pricing, capabilities, roadmaps, alternatives, and material changes that affect Innovation decisions.
• Own recurring portfolio and performance reporting, including robotics fleet KPIs where relevant, and surface implications, gaps, and decision points.
• Develop case studies, one-pagers, QBR materials, executive slides, and other reusable content that turns technical and operational results into clear business narratives.
• Support thought leadership, white papers, and industry materials with research, evidence, and analysis.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a high-performing Innovation Business Analyst / Senior Analyst to build the economics, evidence, and intelligence that support Innovation decisions. This role turns ambiguous questions into decision-quality analysis by building business cases, validating assumptions, tracking performance, researching markets and vendors, and translating evidence into clear executive and client-facing materials. The role spans robotics and other emerging technologies as the Innovation portfolio evolves.

What You'll Own

• Own development and maintenance of Innovation business cases, ROI models, payback analyses, sensitivities, and economic scenarios across technologies and client environments.
• Independently identify, source, and validate model inputs by working with Finance, Pricing, Operations, vendors, Procurement, and other stakeholders rather than waiting for a complete data set.
• Maintain market and vendor intelligence, including pricing, capabilities, roadmaps, alternatives, and material changes that affect Innovation decisions.

• Bring recommendations and implications - not just spreadsheets - and clearly distinguish what is known, assumed, and still needs to be validated.

What Success Looks Like

• Business cases are consistent, decision-ready, and reusable across the Innovation portfolio.
• Key assumptions are traceable and pressure-tested, with clear sensitivities and data gaps.
• Leadership can quickly understand what is working, what is not, and what decisions are required.
• Case studies and executive/client materials are produced consistently, efficiently, and at a high standard.
• The role expands beyond robotics as new technologies enter the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing, finance, strategy, consulting, operations analytics, or a related field; senior-level scope may require additional experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modeling capability, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to structure ambiguous questions independently.
• Excellent written and visual communication; able to turn analysis into a concise recommendation or executive-ready story.
• Curiosity and comfort learning unfamiliar technologies, markets, vendors, and operating models.
• Strong follow-through and willingness to chase down incomplete information across functions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pricing, facilities management, technology, automation, or innovation.
