Job summary

The role emphasizes documentation, confidentiality, and crisis interventions as needed. The successful candidate will have a degree in social or behavioral sciences and Ohio licensure (LSW/LCSW/LPC) with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in social or behavioral science or closely related field is required.
• One year of experience providing mental health or counseling services.
• Licensure in Ohio as LSW, LCSW, or LPC is required or preferred.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments of inmates.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Develop, implement and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health records.
• Consult with multidisciplinary staff on behavior and mental health issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Administer mental health assessments and tests as needed.
