Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify inmates with severe mental illness and behavioral health needs.
• Conduct clinical interviews, evaluations, and risk assessments to support treatment planning and inmate safety.
• Implement risk management procedures addressing self-harm and threats to others.
• Coordinate referrals to medical, mental health, crisis management and behavioral health services.
• Maintain accurate, timely caseload records and documentation.
• Collaborate with security staff regarding inmate protection and safety concerns.
• Support suicide prevention initiatives and unit behavioral health programs.
• Manage caseload responsibilities, prioritize duties, and meet productivity standards.
• Perform additional behavioral health and administrative duties to support unit operations.
