Job summary

Decision Point is seeking an Inland Empire Campus Ministry Staff member to coach students who are passionate about reaching peers for Christ. You will build relationships with youth pastors, churches, schools, and community leaders while expanding campus ministry throughout the Inland Empire.

Staff spend 50-75% of their time in the field during the ministry year (Sept-May), coaching students, visiting schools, and connecting with pastors and community leaders.

Qualifications

• Church or parachurch ministry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High moral integrity, emotional maturity, social awareness, and spiritual maturity.
• Must be an evangelical Christian who loves the gospel and evangelism.

Responsibilities

• Coach students who are passionate about reaching peers for Christ and build relationships with youth pastors, churches, schools, and community leaders.
• Expand campus ministry throughout the Inland Empire.

About Decision Point

Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit committed to reaching the next generation by equipping, sending, and coaching students to share the gospel on their campuses and online. The ministry partners with churches and communities to expand student outreach nationwide.

Position Summary

Decision Point is seeking an Inland Empire Campus Ministry Staff member to coach students who are passionate about reaching their peers for Christ. The role includes building relationships with youth pastors, churches, schools, and community leaders while expanding campus ministry throughout the Inland Empire.

Staff spend 50-75% of their time in the field during the ministry year (September-May), coaching students, visiting schools, and connecting with pastors and community leaders.

Anticipated hire date: Spring 2026 or later, as ministry needs and funding allow.

Reports to: L.A. Area Director, Doug Goulding.

Ideal Candidate

1. Passionate about reaching students who don't know Christ.

4. Experienced in leadership, coaching, or ministry.
5. Visionary, organized, and detail-oriented.
6. Skilled at building church and community partnerships.
7. Spiritually mature, teachable, and committed to biblical truth.
8. A team player with a heart for evangelism.
9. Willing to work 45+ hours per week and travel regularly in the L.A. area, with some national travel.

Salary & Fundraising

$48,000-$64,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

All Decision Point staff participate in raising financial and prayer support. Training, encouragement, and ongoing coaching are provided.
