Job summary

MCC, a global leader in premium labels, is seeking an Ink Technician to support the Press Department. You will blend inks in small batches, follow SOPs, and coordinate with production to meet customer specs and schedules.

Responsibilities include maintaining the ink work area, using color management tools, and logkeeping for inks and formulas, while ensuring safety and 5S standards in the manufacturing area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of experience in printing.
• Proactive with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn color management software.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Color vision and color acuity.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and organized ink work area.
• Follow SOPs and use ink dispensing equipment and color management devices to ensure quality.
• Record color formulas in color management software and relay procedures to workers.
• Maintain ink room inventories and manage toners on the dispensing system.
• Review daily production schedule for ink preparation and staging.
• Perform ink quality checks and process ink deliveries and storage.
