Flint Group seeks an Ink Technician to safely prepare and deliver press-ready inks, supporting customer production environments. You will perform color checks, assist with ink adjustments, and keep accurate production records, while upholding safety and Lean/5S standards.

The role emphasizes precise color control, fast-paced operations, and collaboration with press teams to meet schedules and quality targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in printing, ink manufacturing, or related production preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and PPE use.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace per Lean and 5S.
• Prepare, weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks to support production.
• Perform quality checks, including color control with X-Rite or similar.
• Support press operations with ink adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Maintain production, quality, and downtime records.
• Assist with job scheduling and ink estimations for upcoming production.
• Manage ink inventory levels, ensuring proper stock and minimizing excess.
• Follow work-off ink processes to reduce waste.
