Flint Group in Pine Bluff, AR, is seeking an Ink Technician to safely prepare and support ink production for customer environments. You will weigh, blend and deliver press-ready inks while adhering to safety standards and Lean/5S practices.

The position requires a high school diploma, attention to color accuracy, and good problem-solving and communication skills. Experience in printing or ink manufacturing is preferred; strong documentation skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Adhere to safety policies, participate in safety training, and properly use PPE.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace using Lean and 5S principles.
  • Prepare, weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks to support production schedules.
  • Perform quality checks, including color control using X-Rite or similar equipment.
  • Support press operations with ink adjustments and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records.
  • Assist with job scheduling and ink estimations for upcoming production.
  • Manage ink inventory levels, ensuring proper stock and minimizing excess.
  • Follow and support work-off ink processes to reduce waste.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ink Technician is responsible for safely performing all aspects of ink preparation and support to ensure the successful operation of the customer’s production environment. This role supports customer performance by delivering high-quality, press-ready inks while adhering to Flint Group’s corporate policies, safety standards, and core values.
