Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking an Ink Technician in York, PA to join a hands-on printing environment. The role offers a $20/hour pay rate on the 1st shift, with steady Monday–Friday hours and opportunities for growth in color-matching and ink formulation.

You will weigh, mix, and adjust inks, ensure color accuracy, and support production with ink testing and inventory management. A detail-oriented, physically capable candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with printing inks in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read formulas, interpret job specifications, and use testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and physical capability to lift ink containers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and adjust inks to meet job specifications, color standards, viscosity, and pH requirements.
• Manage ink inventory by receiving shipments, organizing storage areas, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining usage records.
• Provide press-side color matching, technical support to operators, and maintain ink-related equipment through cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
