SPR Packaging, LLC in Rockwall, TX is seeking an Ink Technician for a 12-hour night shift (5:30am–5:30pm days, 5:30pm–5:30am nights). The role focuses on ink room management in a flexographic printing facility under supervision.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential to coordinate presses and maintain ink inventories. Responsibilities include ink formulation, color matching at press, and assisting with changeovers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with solvent ink is preferred.
• Color matching ability and knowledge of inks and substrates are preferred.
• Experience with Flexographic printing is preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communications skills, and initiative in problem solving/troubleshooting required.
• Knowledge of basic computer operating.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Formulates inks as required with ink formulation software.
• Blends inks as required by operating an ink dispenser or weighing by hand.
• Maintains inventory control standards.
• Organizes inks for press runs.
• Returns inks from press to appropriate area.
