Overview

Title: Injury Prevention Specialist/Industrial Athletic Trainer

Location: Wichita, KS

Status: PRN/Per Diem

Hours: M-F 7:30a-4:00p

Injury Prevention Specialist Support and Development

Responsibilities

As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will assess employee health, observe work performance, and develop personalized injury prevention plans. Your duties include:

  • Assessing body mechanics and risk through observation.
  • Documenting treatments and providing coaching for improvement.
  • Understanding OSHA recordkeeping rules related to first aid.
  • Addressing discomfort through education and coaching.
  • Assisting with medical surveillance and employee health education.

The scope of duties may evolve with business needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Other qualified disciplines include PTA with licensure, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or military healthcare experience.
  • Relevant license or certification.
  • Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
  • BOC certification or eligibility preferred.
