Select Physical Therapy in the Shrewsbury, PA area is seeking a full-time Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), PTA, COTA, or a related background, focusing on ergonomics, employee education, preventive exercise programs and early intervention to reduce workplace injuries.

Responsibilities include ergonomic assessments, delivering education, and developing preventative exercise plans; onboarding new hires; and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits.
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs.
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury.
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees.
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics.
