Job description

We are looking for an Athletic Trainer, PTA, Exercise Science or someone from the Military with healthcare experience.

Early Intervention Specialists are responsible for interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.

Responsibilities
  1. Apply their scientific knowledge and education to the industrial environment.
  2. Through observation of employee work performance, assess body mechanics, determine risk and create a plan for mitigation.
  3. Perform and document all employee treatments within the workplace efficiently and completely with a strong ability to integrate feedback for continuous improvement. Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
  4. Proactively address postural discomfort through education and job-specific coaching with the goal of eliminating postural contributions to the injury.
  5. Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
  6. Assist to identify, develop, and provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics to optimize health of the population.
  7. Work within the jurisdictional guidelines for clinical care.
  8. Take outcome data and convert to client-specific reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Required
  1. Associates degree as a PTA with licensure; or Bachelors’ degree in Ex Science/Kinesiology/Allied Health; or 2 years experience in a Military healthcare setting.
