Job summary

ATI Health in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist/Athletic Trainer on a PRN basis. You will assess employee health, develop individualized improvement plans, and implement injury prevention programs on-site across client workplaces.

Role requires Bachelors or Masters in Athletic Training, licensure/BOC certification, and BLS/AED credentials, with opportunity for ongoing professional development through ATI Academy and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training required.
• Other qualified disciplines: PTA with licensure; or Bachelors' in Exercise Science/Athletic Training/Kinesiology/Allied Health; or 2 years military healthcare experience.
• Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate
• Basic Life Support and AED Certification
• BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred

Responsibilities

• Interface with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.
• Observe employee work performance to assess body mechanics, determine risk, and develop mitigation plans.
• Document all employee treatments in the workplace with a focus on coaching for continuous improvement.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
• Address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to reduce injuries.
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
• Identify, develop, and deliver employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics.

Responsibilities

As an Early Intervention Specialist you will be responsible for interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.

• Through observation of employee work performance, assess body mechanics, determine risk and create a plan for mitigation.
• Perform and document all employee treatments within the workplace efficiently and completely with a strong ability to integrate feedback through coaching for continuous improvement.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7)
• Proactively address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching with the goal of eliminating contributions to the injury.
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
• Assist to identify, develop, and provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics to optimize the health of the population.
