Injury Prevention Specialist/ Athletic Trainer

This position offers a pay range of $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr, based on skills and experience. Your actual salary will be discussed with your recruiter.

Job Details
  • Duration: 3 Months Contract
  • Pay Rate: $25.00/hr to $30.00/hr
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm
Responsibilities
  • Provide triage, first aid, and/or referral to medical providers
  • Maintain records of first aid care
  • Minimize injury risks through awareness and education
  • Lead daily stretching routines during start-up meetings
  • Educate departments on injury prevention techniques
  • Analyze injury trends and develop action plans
  • Report and analyze incident data, recommending risk reduction strategies
  • Recommend accommodations for employees on medical restrictions
  • Understand job functions to improve body mechanics and work processes
  • Engage with staff on safety and at-risk behaviors
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (NATA or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CPR certification (Basic Life Support or Professional Rescuer)
  • Maintain medical credentials
  • Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in occupational health settings
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR, AED training
  • Experience with wellness programs and Worker’s Compensation
  • Leadership experience

Ergonomic assessments and engagement with workers
