Schedule

Split night shift, Monday to Friday. The shift will be in two parts at night.

Training

Training occurs during regular office hours (9 AM – 5 PM) before transitioning to the night shift.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer, by either the National Athletic Trainers' Association or equivalent State Certification
• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid card evidencing successful completion of a CPR course at the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (client)
• Associate will be required to maintain all medical credentials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Description

The client is seeking health and safety professionals with a background in Athletic Training (ATC) to support the injury prevention program. In this role, you will be part of the onsite Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Team, performing injury prevention and management activities, including first aid. You will work in a Client Fulfillment Center and report directly to the Site Safety Manager.

The Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS) will proactively analyze tasks for ergonomic and safety issues, perform biomechanical assessments, provide first aid, and carry out injury prevention activities. The IPS will offer conservative care, observe work practices, and educate associates on effective techniques to reduce injury risk. The role involves proactive ergonomic assessments and coaching to prevent injuries before they occur.

• Provide triage, first aid, and referrals to medical providers if needed.
• Maintain records of first aid care provided.
• Reduce injury risks through awareness, education, and intervention.
• Lead daily stretching routines during start-up meetings.
• Learn departmental procedures and communicate injury prevention techniques.
• Analyze injury trends and develop action plans.
• Report daily activities and incident analyses to safety and leadership teams, with recommendations for injury reduction.
• Recommend accommodations for employees on medical restrictions.
• Understand job functions and improve ergonomic practices within the warehouse.
• Engage in frequent floor interactions, coaching associates on safe work habits, and participating in daily meetings.
