Job summary

HealthFitness in Marysville, OH, is seeking an Injury Prevention Coordinator to help employees stay healthy, strong, and injury-free in a manufacturing setting. The role collaborates with the client’s employee healthcare team to design, implement, and evaluate prevention programs.

You will conduct training, lead interventions tailored to the plant environment, collect data for ROI, and promote wellness education.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) accepted

Responsibilities

• Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
• Leads development and implementation of interventions/programs for the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.
• Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
• Collects and evaluates program data to support ROI; manages and reports data for assigned plant.
• Develops, promotes, and markets wellness and general education programs.
• Other duties as needed/assigned

This is a great opportunity for a fitness professional, OTA, or PTA to apply their expertise in a manufacturing setting while working a convenient 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM schedule and making a real impact every day.In collaboration with client's employee healthcare team, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs focused on the prevention of work-related injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment.Key AccountabilitiesConducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process, manages and reports data for their assigned plant.Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.Other duties as needed/assigned.Minimum RequirementsAssociate's degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field, or licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).2+ years’ experience in health and fitness.Ability to work a B shift (1:30pm-10:00pm, M-F)Great if you had these (not required)Personal Training Certification.Understanding of Biomechanics.Understanding of Occupational Safety.Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing).Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $50,000 - $56,000 annually. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
