Role Overview: Injection Operator - Night Shift

Responsibilities include operating, monitoring, and maintaining the production line.

Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the production line, including starting and stopping equipment such as palletizers, carton makers, sealers, and drop packers. Mechanical repairs require prior approval.
  • Accurately complete and update logs and reports, including Machine, Quality, Downtime, and Carton Top Load Reports.
  • Follow plant safety rules, including proper lifting, machine operation, and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all production areas, including break rooms and restrooms. Handle waste materials like plastic, cardboard, and contaminated bottles.
  • Manage raw materials such as bottle caps, labels, cartons, and plastic wraps to ensure smooth production.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and document inspections; report any quality defects.
  • Work in all assigned areas and perform relief duties as needed.
  • Stack, tie, and label unused cartons; troubleshoot minor issues; perform relief duties.
  • Maintain regular attendance; work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (day/night).
Qualifications:
  • Required: 0-2 years manufacturing experience (may include education).
  • Preferred: 2-4 years manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in English.
