Injection Operator - Night Shift

The Injection Operator performs tasks related to injection processes, managing PET and HDPE injection equipment, primarily Husky and other OEMs.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare, set up, start, and operate injection equipment.
  • Make minor adjustments with prior approval; avoid mechanical repairs without authorization.
  • Complete logs and forms accurately, including production and quality logs.
  • Recognize unsafe conditions, follow safety rules, and use PPE as required.
  • Perform visual and mechanical quality checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all production areas.
  • Identify resin types and parts safe for grinding and reintroduction.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and report defects immediately.
  • Work across multiple production areas with minimal supervision and perform relief duties.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance.
  • Understand computer systems like Shotscope, Electric80, Ignition.
  • Optimize line flow and manufacturing processes.
  • Communicate issues clearly and effectively.
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications

Minimum: 2 years' experience in manufacturing or similar environment, operating multiple machines.

Preferred: 4 years' experience, including management or projects.

Education
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $22.95 - $30.41/hour.
