Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking an Injection Operator for the Day Shift to manage setting up and running injection equipment in a busy production environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and efficient line flow in a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include logging daily production and quality forms, performing minor equipment adjustments, and coordinating with maintenance for issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing field or similar environment.
• Minimum 2 years in the Injection Operator role.
• Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, start, and run injection equipment.
• Perform minor adjustments to injection equipment with approval.
• Complete and log preform/cap logs and quality forms.
• Identify unsafe conditions and follow safety rules.
• Conduct visual and mechanical quality checks.
• Maintain housekeeping in production areas.
• Differentiate resins (VPET, RPET, HDPE) and recycle parts.
• Record inspection sheets and report quality defects.
• Work across production areas with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues with maintenance.
• Understand computer systems (Shotscope, Electirc80, Ignition).
• Communicate issues clearly and maintain shift attendance.
