Job summary

Niagara is seeking an Injection Operator to manage day‑to‑day operations of PET/HDPE injection equipment, ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment.

You will perform setup, minor adjustments, run production logs and quality checks, and collaborate with maintenance. This role requires 12‑hour shifts on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 2 years experience in the position and operating multiple manufacturing machines.
• Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
• Preferred: 4 years in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: 4 years in the position.
• 2 years experience managing people/projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, start and run injection equipment.
• Perform minor adjustments as directed; no unapproved mechanical work.
• Complete and update logs and quality forms.
• Identify unsafe conditions and follow plant safety rules.
• Perform quality checks to ensure production meets standards.
• Maintain housekeeping in all production areas.
• Define resin types and identify parts safe for grinding.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance.
• Understand line flow to maximize throughput.
• Communicate issues clearly and concisely.
• Work 12-hour shifts on rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
