Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Tooling Engineer to design, develop, and qualify mold tools for production. You will coordinate with engineering, quality, and production to meet schedules and quality targets while guiding tooling teams through CAD analysis and tooling fabrication.

The role requires a high school diploma with toolmaking/die design training and at least 5 years of 2D/3D CAD experience using AutoCAD and NX; familiarity with Inventor and SolidWorks is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and technical/vocational training in toolmaking or die design.
• 5 years of 2D/3D CAD experience (AutoCAD & NX preferred).
• Strong teamwork and communication in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Own mold/tool development and qualification projects at Cookeville plant; deliver cost-effective, high-quality tooling.
• Provide design support and liaise with engineering, quality, and production to align on goals and timelines.
• Read drawings and CAD models; guide tooling designers and shop personnel as needed.
• Identify risks and support project leads with mitigation and planning.
