Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Renton, WA seeks an Injection Mold Processor to set up and operate injection molding machines, monitor production, and ensure quality and safety standards.

You will work with the manufacturing team to support continuous improvement, perform basic machine maintenance, and handle material preparation, mold changes, and part inspections using precise measuring tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plastic injection molding experience required.
• Experience or familiarity with scientific molding processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of plastics processing principles and techniques.
• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane for mold changes.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Experience using measuring tools to inspect molded parts.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts.
• Monitor production and inspect parts for quality.
• Troubleshoot process issues and perform basic machine maintenance.
• Assist with mold changes, tooling, and overhead crane operations.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support 5S initiatives.
• Collaborate with team to support continuous improvement and production goals.
