Job summary

Pro Tools Now is seeking an Injection Molding Technician to support daily operations in a growing manufacturing environment. You will set up molding machines, install molds, and adjust process parameters to maintain high-quality outputs.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to read blueprints and process documents. You’ll collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to improve processes while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as an Injection Molding Technician or equivalent.
• Knowledge of thermoplastics, molds, and molding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and shut down molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Install and remove molds, including proper clamping, water, air, and electrical connections.
• Adjust process parameters to optimize part quality and cycle efficiency.
• Troubleshoot molding defects such as short shots, flash, sinks, warpage, and burns.
• Perform routine machine and mold maintenance; identify and report larger repair needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of setups, process changes, and production data.
