Job summary

Revere Plastics Systems, LLC is seeking an Injection Molding Production Supervisor to lead daily molding operations on site in Michigan. You will review KPIs, approve first pieces, align hourly staffing, and remove roadblocks so the team can run safely and efficiently.

You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials to execute schedules, minimize scrap, and ensure on-time delivery while coaching a 50+ strong team and upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership in fast-paced manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills; able to juggle priorities.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams of 50+ with Team Leader support.
  • ERP savvy with IQMS preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in thermoplastic injection molding manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of molding machines, tooling, plastics, automation and robotics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve processes.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Engineering to resolve issues quickly.
  • Coach and develop employees; manage performance and attendance.
  • Advance plant goals across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Lead daily plastics molding operations that power on-time delivery and top-tier quality

As our Injection Molding Production Supervisor, you’ll start each shift on the floor—reviewing KPIs, confirming first-piece approvals, aligning manpower to the hour‑by‑hour plan, and removing roadblocks so your team can run safely and efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials to execute the schedule, minimize scrap, and delight customers.

What you’ll lead
  • Direct day-to-day supervision of production associates, optimizing manpower, materials, methods, and equipment to hit schedule, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and engagement through Servant Leadership; strengthen collaboration across shifts and departments.
  • Uphold all company policies, procedures, objectives, and operational standards.
  • Plan workforce needs; coordinate staffing, onboarding, skills training, and ongoing development to meet operational goals.
  • Champion safety—ensure OSHA compliance, reinforce company safety policies, and verify proper PPE use.
  • Own and verify mold changes, first-piece approvals, last-shot documentation, production reporting, process verifications, training records, and standardized work.
  • Keep the floor safe, clean, and organized by implementing and sustaining 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Track and analyze KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, scrap, and attendance; drive corrective actions where needed.
  • Lead Lean initiatives to reduce waste, improve processes, and elevate operational performance.
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Engineering to resolve issues quickly and prevent downtime.
  • Coach and develop employees; hold the team accountable for performance, attendance, quality, and adherence to expectations.
  • Advance plant goals across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.
Your background
  • 5+ years of leadership in fast‑paced manufacturing (or equivalent related experience).
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams of 50+ with Team Leader support.
  • Self‑starter with results focus; highly collaborative across functions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP savvy (IQMS preferred).
  • Experience in thermoplastic injection molding manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of molding machines, tooling, plastics, automation, and robotics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.

Work environment and physical demands
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, stoop, twist, climb, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods (8–12 hours).
  • Bend forward/downward at the waist (45°+), and bend below the waist to reach items near floor level.
  • Work around hot molds, presses, cranes, and other industrial equipment; navigate tight spaces.
  • Use hands/fingers to seize, hold, and grasp objects.
  • Reach overhead and at/below shoulder level.
  • Ascend/descend ramps and stairs using feet and legs.
  • Hear and distinguish speech and sounds such as machinery alarms, medical codes, or warnings.
  • Frequently work near machinery; moderate noise levels.
  • Close vision (20 inches or less) and the ability to identify/distinguish colors.
  • Hands‑on 60–80% of the time, with a mix of desk and computer work.
  • Temperatures can vary and may reach up to 90°F; must perform in both hot and cold conditions.
  • May remain in a stationary position 50%–100% of the time.
  • Climb on/off forklifts and standing lifts; access trailers, steps, and ladders.
  • No aversion to heights.
