Job summary

Techniplas, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician / Technical Writer to support injection molding, thermoforming, and assembly operations. You will help engineers with trials, tool launches, and engineering changes, and you will generate and maintain work instructions, setup sheets, PFMEAs and control plans to guide operators and auditors.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate engineering steps into clear, plain language.
• Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and photo markups.

Responsibilities

• Support process and manufacturing engineers on new product launches and tool trials.
• Troubleshoot process, tooling, and fixture issues on the floor and document root causes.
• Create and revise SWIs, setup sheets, process sheets and visual aids with photos/diagrams.
• Update PFMEAs, process flow diagrams and control plans as processes change.
