Job summary

Valeo is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician for the Smyrna, TN facility. This 2nd shift role (2PM-10:30PM) focuses on troubleshooting, operating, and maintaining injection molding equipment, and driving process improvements with the team.

Requires 2+ years’ mold setup experience and defect identification, plus a high school diploma or GED. OT may be required to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' experience with new mold set-up and injection molding machines.
• 2+ years' experience identifying defects after manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot injection molding process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain injection molding process equipment.
• Operate overhead crane.
• Maintain injection process standards.
• Collaborate with the injection team to improve TRP, cycle time, and scrap.
• Ability to start a robot.
