About The Job

As an Injection Molding Process Technician, you will support manufacturing activities for specific products by performing duties such as:

• Following procedures for press alarms, production priorities, and test runs.
• Completing production test runs, summarizing results, updating the MRP system, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Transferring processes between machines, validating them, and creating setup documentation.
• Collaborating with various departments to identify and resolve issues.
• Documenting process changes and maintaining communication standards.
• Starting or stopping molding machines as per schedule, including mold change preparations.
• Supporting quality and molding teams with corrective actions.
• Ensuring molds operate within established parameters and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Setting up and tuning equipment like Sprue Pickers and Robots.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications include:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Process Technician in injection molding.
• Continued education through AIM Molding I and II courses, which USC will fund.
