Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Process Technician for Injection Molding on the Starlink program in Texas. The role focuses on maintaining fully automated injection molding systems, documenting process settings, and supporting continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in plastic injection molding, strong debugging skills, and experience with robotics and automated equipment. Shift requires 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM availability and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years in plastic injection molding or related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with automated molding cells and process optimization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and validate equipment for injection molding applications.
• Develop and optimize injection molding processes through experiments and trials.
• Maintain update of operator instructions, checklists, and service manuals.
• Define requirements in collaboration with engineering teams and design robust processes.
• Diagnose equipment failures, collect data, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Work on the manufacturing floor operating, calibrating, and maintaining machines.
