Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Injection Molding Technician (Starlink) for the 2nd shift to support the manufacturing and development of Starlink component production. You will operate and maintain fully automated injection molding machines, document process settings, and contribute to process improvements on the shop floor.

You will work with a team of manufacturing and process engineers to meet production, quality, and inventory targets while adhering to ITAR and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment or related skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and validate intelligent equipment for injection molding.
• Develop process through parameter optimization, DOE, and trials for robust production.
• Oversee operator instructions, parameters, checklists, and training materials for molding operations.
• Update service manuals, BOMs, drawings, and wiring schematics.
• Recommend processes, tooling, and execution plans to optimize production runs.
• Collaborate with design engineers to define requirements and improve manufacturability.
• Diagnose equipment failures, collect data, and implement sustainable fixes.
