Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: The Injection Molding Process Technician must have 2+ years of experience. As an Injection Molding Process Technician, you will perform manufacturing support activities for a specific product or group of products.

Responsibilities:

• Follow procedures and protocols for addressing press alarms, production priorities, and test runs.
• Complete production test runs including summarizing the results, completing the workstream in our MRP system, and communicating with all stakeholders.
• Transfer processes from one machine to another, validate the process on the new machine, create setup sheets, and properly document these changes.
• Collaborate with process, tooling, quality, maintenance, and production teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Document all process changes on the process change log worksheet.
• Follow standardized communication processes with verbal, written, and formal communication to peers, operations, and vendors.
• Work according to a priority schedule to start/stop molding machines, including complete shutdowns for mold changes.
• Support molding and quality teams on corrective actions.
• Ensure molds operate within established parameters and maintain a clean work environment.
• Set up and improve part containment at molding machines.
• Collaborate to maintain a safe and clean molding floor.
• Setup and install camera systems as needed.
• Setup and tune Sprue Pickers and Robots, including Yushin models.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Process Technician in an injection molding environment.

This position requires continued education, specifically AIM molding courses I and II, with expenses paid by the company.

Education: High School diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related fields or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 2+ years.

Relocation: No relocation expenses covered.

Travel: No travel required.

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must work on a W2 basis (No C2C).
