Job summary

Aerotek in Jennings, MO is seeking experienced Injection Molding Technician, Process Technician, or Mold Setter to help keep a high-volume plastic injection molding operation running efficiently. You will troubleshoot, set up, mold changes, and perform maintenance while driving quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with plastic injection molding in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with machine setup, mold changes, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and adjust machine parameters.
• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process-related issues.
• Set up, adjust, and optimize injection molding machines for maximum performance.
• Perform mold changes, machine setups, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
• Support and train production operators on equipment and troubleshooting.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to improve processes.
• Use measuring and inspection tools to ensure products meet specifications.
