Rain Bird Corporation is seeking a Molding Process Tech 2 to support and optimize our injection molding operations in Arizona. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process tuning to maximize uptime and part quality.

You will work under minimum supervision while acting as a technical leader for helpers. Responsibilities include changing molds and materials to meet production schedules, installing new equipment, and documenting processes to ensure lot traceability and

Qualifications

• Safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures must be followed.
• 3+ years of injection molding experience including mold-setting and material handling.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and engineering grade materials.
• Ability to analyze and adjust molding processes to maintain high quality.
• Completion of tasks to maximize machine run time and OEE.
• Familiar with various molding machine models, robots, and materials.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Follow all safety policies and Rain Bird standards.
• Increase injection molding machine uptime and reliability.
• Perform mold and material changes to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Conduct periodic preventive maintenance on molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist with installation of new equipment.
• Communicate issues and ideas with team and supervision.
• Troubleshoot quality concerns for root causes and adjust processes.
• Monitor and adjust machine parameters to maintain tolerances and part quality.
• Maintain documentation for lot traceability and process control.
• Operate forklift, scissor lift, overhead crane, pallet jacks, and mold carts.
• Serve as a technical leader for less experienced coworkers.
