Job summary

Sika is seeking an engineering professional to ensure bulk production efficiency through process design, development, and direct production support. The role involves driving projects to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and implement automation across injection molding systems.

You will interact with quality, tooling, maintenance, and engineering teams; develop work instructions, and lead training for operators and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field; 5+ years experience preferred.
• 3–5 years processing and automation experience.
• Strong SPC orientation; proficient with PC software (Microsoft Office).
• Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent internal and external relationships with all levels of management.
• Strong hands-on commitment; ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Quality and Tooling to resolve defects and mold issues.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement projects to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Design and set up processes, systems, workstations, and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot processes and systems; train leads, setup personnel, and supervisors.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to troubleshoot systems and develop preventive maintenance.
