Job summary

Jobtailor in Camarillo, CA is seeking a meticulous Injection Molding Operative to run, trim, bag, box and inspect molded parts in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom. You will monitor machines, adjust processes for quality parts, and ensure products meet specifications.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, ability to read safety and maintenance instructions, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. You will work with a team to hit production goals while maintaining strict PPE and hygiene

Qualifications

• Personal commitment to produce the highest quality product.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic math knowledge (multiply, subtract, divide, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment.
• Must wear powder-free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers in the cleanroom.
• Shorts, loose, or baggy clothing are not permitted in the cleanroom.
• Makeup, hair styling products, soiled, fuzzy, or frayed clothing must not be worn into the cleanroom.
• Only nonsmokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom.

Responsibilities

• Run, trim, bag, box, count, and store molded parts.
• Monitor production and molded parts while machines are running.
• Adjust the injection molding process as necessary to produce quality parts.
• Measure and inspect molded parts for visual and dimensional issues.
• Ensure molded parts conform to specifications.
• Trim excess material from molded parts.
• Count, bag, and pack products to prevent contamination or distortion.
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain safety standards and quality control specifications.
