Job summary

Flambeau, Inc in Columbus, IN is seeking a production worker to maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with team members, customers and suppliers while learning quality and production standards for customer parts.

You will log rejects, track production counts, ensure quality and correct packaging, and assist with training. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and basic English reading/writing; prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Education or GED.
• Ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions in English.
• Basic math and measurement using gauges may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with co-workers, employer, customers and suppliers.
• Must have acceptable attendance record.
• Learn and apply quality and production standards to all customer parts that you are assigned to work on.
• Log all rejects and track all production counts.
• Ensure customer quality expectations are met.
• Assure that good parts are not being discarded.
• Assist with on the job training of new associates and help with proper methods, paperwork and safety concerns.
• Ensure that job specific responsibilities are followed and that product is packaged per defined standards.
• Never package questionable products and seek guidance from supervisors or quality staff when needed.
• Must learn and follow all applicable IATF16949 quality procedures for Injection Molding production practices.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform cleanup as directed; resume tasks promptly when reassigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
