Job summary

Molded Dimensions Group in Port Washington, WI is seeking a skilled Molding Machine Operator to join our Rubber division. You will operate an injection molding machine, monitor processes, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

Training is available for those new to molding, with shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as listed in the job ad. Ideal candidates bring machine operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a molding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate an injection molding machine according to company standards and safety guidelines.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions, ensuring parts meet quality specifications.
• Position and secure inserts and load rubber into machine
• Remove finished products from machine using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment.
• Perform finishing work on molded product, including manual clipping, trimming, sorting and assembly of parts produced.
• Conduct quality checks on parts and complete documentation as required.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and shift leads to meet production targets.
