Injection Molding Operating Technician, All shifts

We are seeking candidates for the following shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Responsibilities include:

1. Mold set-up and removal, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce injection molded parts to specification; while running the machine at or above standard rates.
2. Ensure maximum efficiency including set-up time, materials, production rate, and material consumption.
3. Inspect machinery, equipment, and tooling prior to set-up for machine readiness.
4. Identify issues affecting product requirements and communicate with relevant departments for resolution.
5. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
6. Identify nonconforming materials/products and collaborate with the shift leader for resolution.
7. Complete projects as assigned by the Production Shift Leader.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Husky, Netstal, and Engel injection molding machines preferred.

The Injection Molding Operating Technician will be responsible for the setup and operation of high-speed thin wall molding machines used for containers and lids, including accumulator-assisted molding processes. Responsibilities also include preparing, starting, and running manufacturing equipment, ensuring quality standards, and following safety procedures to improve quality and productivity.
