Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at CREO Group in Chambersburg, PA will perform daily checks on plastic injection molding machines and other production equipment to prevent malfunctions and minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; injection molding experience is preferred but not required. The role emphasizes safety, 5S, and reading blueprints and diagrams in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Injection molding experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs PMs, basic repairs, inspections, adjusts and/or replaces worn parts, and documents work performed.
• Performs inventory of supplies used by maintenance department.
• Inspects and maintains electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic components and maintains equipment safety features.
• Performs other plant PM or repairs including lighting and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintains 5S cleanliness standards.
• Utilizes safety equipment as appropriate for the work.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
